1. Naming Rule of Data File
The satellite remote-sensing SST data files in the CDMDB are named
according to the following rule:
YYYYMMDD.XXX
YYYYMMDD indicates the observation time (YYYY
is the year when making the observation,
MM is the month when making the observation, and DD is the day when
making the observation).
XXX indicates the type of data, here is "gif".
2. Data Format
The format used for the delivery of the satellite remote-sensing SST data is a raster-based
color graphics file format: "gif" format.
